Who we are?
PASMO is a Central American non-profit organization, comprised of professionals who are passionate about contributing to the health of vulnerable populations in the region in a sustainable manner.
With a focus on innovation, social marketing, and the development and use of evidence, PASMO’s health programs are oriented towards measuring and achieving measurable health impact.
PASMO (Pan American Social Marketing Organization) has offices and health programs in five Central American countries and is an independent network member of Population Services International (PSI).
Where we work?
We aspire for all Central Americans to benefit from comprehensive health, for their wellbeing and their human development.
Our decisions are based on evidence, research, monitoring, and evaluation.
We operate under an Ethics Code based on honesty, transparency, and integrity.
We work with passion and seek excellence as well as the best possible service for the people we serve.
We trust our staff and their capacity to make good decisions.
We do our best to build long-lasting programs that have a health impact in the region.
We create collaborative and learning spaces where ideas are heard and valued.
In April 2020, PASMO carried out a strategic planning process as a fully local organization in Central America. Our new Strategic Plan for the period from 2021 to 2025 sets out a shared goal and future in which the people that we serve can benefit from improved health, and a future in which PASMO can be a self-sustainable organization.
